People enchanted something don't see much more than the object they are enchanted . For some teachers the enchanter can be a new learning platform called X. In their enchantment, these teachers cannot understand that other people might have different kind experiences. Anyway, sooner or later also those who want to break the spell enter the scene. They want to return to the original state when no one was enchanted anything new and unknown.
The situation can be illustrated the story of Moomintroll and the mermaid. Maybe the simpliest character Moominvalley, Sniff, is enchanted with a mermaid and he is absorbed his thoughts ever since. He has nothing but the beautiful mermaid his mind. Sniff goes often to the pond to admire the mermaid, who appears on the surface each time Sniff arrives. Gradually all male characters are enchanted the same mermaid. Also those who try to find out the reason for the enchantment, fall under the same spell.
The situation doesn't please womenfolk of Moominvalley at all. None of them is enchanted. That is why they don't like such a fuss and all the adoration. Additionally, they are annoyed at all the males totally lost in thoughts. Because of all this they decide to empty the pond by digging a ditch in order to drain away as well the water as the mermaid.
